The saffron and purple of LotuSun were chosen very intentionally. Saffron immediately connected me to India, where the inspiration and craftsmanship behind LotuSun come together. It is a color associated with warmth, energy, spirituality and transformation — and to me, it feels like the sun itself. That mattered because LotuSun was never meant to be just another wellness product. I wanted it to represent the idea of taking a few minutes to pause, reconnect and come back to yourself with renewed energy.
Purple felt like the perfect balance. It has always represented calm, reflection and a sense of something a little more elevated and special. And, of course, it ties naturally to the lotus — a symbol of growth, resilience and beauty emerging from difficult places. Together, saffron and purple became the visual language of LotuSun: warmth and calm, energy and stillness, strength and softness. They are not simply brand colors; they reflect exactly how I want someone to feel when they use the mat — Pause. Unwind. Uplift.
